Enroll in Level's prison educational program at Kewanee Life Skills Re-Entry Center
Level sends educational material to people incarcerated at Kewanee Life Skills Re-Entry Center, a state prison in Illinois. Level's prison education content includes entrepreneurship training, computer science, internet technology, restaurant job training and personal development material. Level can serve people in maximum security or solitary confinement.
Popular content
We develop educational and job traning content based on requests from people in prison across the country. Our current content focuses on entrepreneurship, computer science, job training and meditation. And we're always working on new content.
Accessible to all
Level's educational guides have been specifically designed to get into nearly any prison or jail. No interenet is needed. Incarcerated learners can work at their own pace in their cells or a communal area. We even send to solitary confinement and maximum security.
Certificates of completion
We send a printed Certificate Of Achievement to each person who completes one of our guides. And we send a digital version to a family member, friend or sponsor on the outside. Our certificates are always available online to share with supporters and even to show to a parole board.

While other organizations tell us to hook up with them when we get out, Level is actually doing something for us while we're stuck here. Educational opportunities are in short supply. I've been in prison 21 years, since I was 17. I can't thank you enough. Level has done more for me than other so-called advocates.

I'm in administrative segregation (solitary confinement) on 23 hour lockdown. We are locked in our cell with no educational classes - none! This system sticks us in a cell and that's it? We don't have the privilege of going to school or learning a trade. So the worst gets worse. I'm glad I ran into you all at Level.

I learned a lot. The guide helps in so many facets of starting a business, from checking to see if you are ready to finding out what business is right for you, to the worksheet on preparing to launch. Thank you for everything you all do at Level. You all are making a difference. God bless!
