Volunteering with Level is one of the easiest volunteer opportunities I have found. I was inspired by the comments people in prison would write in their forms, comments that showed their desire to continue learning and bettering themselves despite their current situation.

Level has been a fulfilling and enjoyable volunteer experience. Nearly every person in prison who leaves feedback on Level’s educational content talks about the enormous impact it has had not only on their knowledge but also their well being. When I read their feedback, I feel proud to be a volunteer at Level.

Volunteering with Level was both easy and invigorating. I got to see first-hand how much incarcerated people value access to educational opportunities and how much the people that Level serves appreciate the educational and job training guides.

The Level portal made it easy for me to transcribe completion forms and I could see immediately how my time was going to help Level track impact and even identify areas to make improvements in the educational programming as suggested by learner feedback.

I have enjoyed volunteering with Level. It is clear that Level is making a positive impact and offering education for people within the United States prison system. Level has been able to reach an eager group of students who are enthusiastic to keep learning through their program. Keep up the good work Level!

Volunteering at Level is super simple and easy to do from anywhere. I really enjoyed helping out and I also learned a lot about incarcerated peoples’ experiences and passions. It helped me remember that people in prison are real people too that have real lives and dreams.
